attachment

Attachment is not a good thing, neither is complete detachment. 

You have to use your ability to watch (as done in vipassana meditation) attachment and understand it, how it is an impediment for your growth spiritually and otherwise. 

   For it is an illusion that the person (or the thing ) to whom you are attached makes you happy, makes you soulful. There is so much fuss about Soul mates, soul mates might be true but you have to realise that attachment whatsoever will hamper you in the pursuit of real happiness. 

Attachment makes us happy but that happiness is delusional, real happiness is unconditional, real happiness is not only presence of happiness it is also absence of suffering and every conditioned things are of impermanent nature. 

For understanding suffering because of attachment, we can meditate on impermanence. Everything that arises out of certain causes and condition(which means everything, every being) are impermanent. Humans can comprehend only the gross impermanence, to understand the subtler impermanence, we have to meditate on momentariness, which is an outcome of impermanence, it says every thing that arises because of certain causes and condition are changing every moment. 

So if you are attached to someone(or something) at the present moment that someone after some moments, is not the one you got attached neither you are the same person who got attached. 

So everything is of changing nature. Nothing is permanent, every thing is dependently originated. 

Ultimate reality ! I just am writing something I have in my mind, my understanding of the concept of emptiness. I think if I write down, it is a sort of meditation, it might help me overcome problems in my life that I am facing presently. Also by writing this, I will get to know someday where was I wrong. 

Practice Compassion along with wisdom (that realizes emptiness of intrinsic nature), known as great compassion. Practice tolerance, meditate, use it as a tool to realize emptiness (of inherent nature).

Emptiness is not nothingness, emptiness is empty of inherent nature of things, be it a person or any thing. Emptiness can be explained from theory of interdependence, every thing arises out of certain causes and conditions, if the cause ceases to exist, the effect won't be seen anymore. If everything arises out of causes and conditions , it means everything is dependent, nothing exists of its own! That is what emptiness is all about, emptiness means empty of inherent nature of things and not nothingness. Emptiness can be supported with the great Middle way. Emptiness is not nothingness, nothingness being one of the extremes, and the other extreme is existence (or conventional existence). 

If we believe that every thing exist as it is, we are bound to get attached, we should look beyond (through the wisdom of emptiness). We are in living in such a world as of now. We are attached to people, we are attached to things. This is because you don't see the 'parts' differently, you just grasp the idea of a 'whole' that deceives you into thinking that, that 'whole' has a real existence in space and time. So  clinging to this extreme, we are suffering, we are attached, we are bonded.

     The other extreme, that is 'nothingness,' if you cling to this, (that emptiness is nothingness, nothing is real, nothing is really existing, ) then you are bound to go crazy(hehe or may be something not good).

If emptiness is not nothingness, what is it? Emptiness is the "womb of potential," because of emptiness everything is possible! everything ! Emptiness of emptiness (think) is also possible !

Because of emptiness you can liberate yourself from cyclic existence, from attachment, from ignorance, there is potential in you to become a Buddha yourself. 

you, you are the only one!!

i shine but 

   only with the radiance of your benign love

i exist but 

   only in the world of your endearing memories

i live but

   in the dreams of our togetherness.

your heart is pure           (i know)

your love is gentle         ( i feel)

your heart is generous   (i see) 

your touch is heavenly. (i sense) 

the angels all around-

dare not take her away from me

for she is the reason i breathe 

i breathe in our memories, 

and all i breathe out is my love for her

i feed myself with her care

for people all around 

taste my blood 

that alone will testify

the depth of my words.

you are the one i loved

the one i will, 

the one i adore, 

you, you are the only one!!

i ain't but I AM

i perceive but what?

i learn but why?

i grow but how?

i pray but whom?

i go but where?

i live! but not a life!  

if you really can, whom are you waiting for?

if it's worth, what is it that is holding you?

if you care, why don't you share?

if not now, then when? 

if you have, don't hesitate! 

if life is, it is here, not there! 

you are, because others are,

we are, because we were,

live not because you have to,

live because 'you' and 'i' are but one!

life is but precious! 

life is but worth living for!

life is! but here! not there!

love is all that you are made of! 

look not backwards, look not beyond 

look right here! look right now!

i am but i ain't. 

but 

i ain't but I AM!

garden...

(In this materialistic life, one forgets to see beyond oneself. There is a whole new world, a mere shift in perspective can make you experience beauty of life beyond oneself, beyond I, ME, MINE.)

In the labyrinth of life 

I am so mesmerized by MYself,

I have lost my real sight,

into MYself I am consumed.

I have to stop by 

the Garden of my life (that embraces 

fragrant flowers,

gentle breeze,

melancholy birds,

thorns that are crowned with roses ,

the whole nature cuddled in that garden.)

I wonder why do I not wonder that

the thorns help me grow,

while the wild winds caress me with its arms,

ferocious currents water my garden,

melodies of nature unite me with the universe
I venture, venture deep into the beauty of the garden......

The garden that I ignored before now blossoms.

Blissful like never before,

I rejoice, for the garden of my life blossomed into 

the flawless garden of love,

with the wings of beauty I fly into the infinite 

the infinite flows into me. 

I am the infinity, infinity is me.

and now I am not the "I" I remember !!!

innocence

an everlasting smile 

i feel the innocence in your smile 

please hold me in your smile

for the world is cruel.

let's fly, fly away

for your innocence is enough, we will LIVE.

It's hard to breathe here 

I'm scared of HUMANS,

take me where I belong,

your smile is where i belong 

the innocence behind your smile is what i seek

your smile can take me to the wonderland !

All i need is love, 

love is innocent, so are you,

my love, you have fallen for innocence, 

my dear, i have fallen for you.

let the flowers of love grow in the garden of our life,

let the water of innocence, make the garden colorful

let the sunrays of your smile never fade........

battling with your Heart.....

I know that impermanence is a reality in this supposedly real world, but far away from reality, when it comes to you, I forget everything and forget you are not the same as you were a fraction of seconds ago.What I find is that you are you, the one who was there a while ago and will be there a little later and forever.

Call it love or call it madness......

My eyelids touch and our universe appear, 

my vision become so vivid, I see you,

my senses become so sensitive, I feel you

Never would I unclose my eyes, had it been Real,

I battle with my heart telling its real

Its you who shove me away telling its unreal

I battle with us, saying I love us, no matter what real is, what unreal is.

If only you could realise real is none, neither my world nor our universe 

may be then will you let me linger in this limbo of ours.

You've never complained, you've shown great patience,

I am indebted to you as you're there for me always in our universe,

you've helped me like noone else did, you care for me like I'm your world.

Someday

I will repay you with all the love I have  

although my love will fall short to repay, but love isn't a game. 

Someday 

we will rise and we will shine 

I will be with you and you will be with me.

I believe 

you are mine and I am yours,

and if i believe what else matters?

your heart is in my heart battling with emotions..

your love is in my blood wrestling with aliens..

your smile is in my eyes blurring  my visions..

you are with me forever, we are creating memories out of memories.
